When the refrigeration system is activated, the water pump draws water from the water tank and delivers it to the water distribution tray. Driven by the reducer, the water distributor spreads the water evenly across the inner wall of the evaporator. Simultaneously, the refrigerant circulating inside the evaporator exchanges heat with the water, cooling it below freezing point to form an ice layer. The ice blade, also driven by the reducer, scrapes the ice off the inner wall, and the ice then falls into the ice bin, forming flake ice. Any unfrozen water flows into the water collecting tray and returns to the water tank for recirculation, enabling a continuous ice-making process.
